Know your way around whitewater on a SUP? Ready to put your skills to the test? Then this is the race for you. This head-to-head, single elimination race will feature up to 6 racers per heat navigating their way through a minimum of 4 mandatory gates on the Wilderness Channel. Scores will be calculated based on finishing order and gate completion, with the winner advancing to the next round.
Preliminary heats will be set by race times from Friday evening’s Downriver SUP race. If a participant does not compete in the Downriver SUP race, they will be placed behind the timed finishers.
For all whitewater races, participants must have prior experience on similar whitewater in the same discipline (kayak or SUP). Participants must provide their own equipment.
Mandatory pre-race check-in and pre-race meeting will take place at the Kayak Center 30 minutes prior to the race.
